WHAT TO EXPECT ON SUNDAY

To help guests understand how we gather as a church, here is a description of our weekly services. Generally, our services are characterized by celebratory worship of God through singing, intentional reflection on the Bible, and friendly interaction with one another and guests. While we hope to paint you a good picture of our worship here, we encourage you to come fellowship with us in person to see it for yourself.

Body of Service

Our service begins at 10:15 am and generally lasts about one hour. Services are led most often by our pastor and ministers. We will sing several songs, pray, read scripture aloud, be taught the truths of the Bible through preaching, and occasionally celebrate baptisms and the Lord’s Supper.

Sermons

Our sermons are expositional in nature, meaning that a singular text of Scripture is explained and expounded on. Sermons are generally 30 minutes in length and seek to challenge the listener in the practice of their faith. All preaching is driven by the gospel—the Bible’s main message of God saving sinners through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

After the Sermon

Our services typically close with a brief concluding reflection through song or meditation. Our altar is open to come and pray. After the service concludes, we try to initially meet those we don’t recognize so please feel free to tell someone you’re new so that we can personally welcome you & answer any questions you may have.
